Here is my grand update with comcast....

NOTHING HAS BEEN FIXED!

today i was honored to have two techs show up and see that there is a 
problem that was extremely obvious.

I have now pin-pointed that after a min of any upload, may it be 
broadcasting on Ustream.tv or a simple FTP, if t it lasts longer than 
a min, the upload time drops at least in half and the ping rate goes 
up.

Shitty day to go outside, but they braved the cold and tried 
replacing the cable in to my apartment, and that did not work.  So, 
something, some where beyond my apartment is a major problem with the 
cable line, and i don't blame them for not fixing it tonight.

I called customer service back right away and they gave me 2 weeks of 
credit and i have to call back once the problem is fixed to be given 
the rest just because they can't pin point it.  As much as i hate 
holding, at least Comcast gave me some kind of credit and realize 
that it is their fault and not mine in anyway shape or form.

And for the first time in a long time, i had someone question/comment 
on the last four digits of my cell number being "4666."  yes, i 
choose that number, no, i am not satanic, i just did it as a gag and 
i've kept the number for 8 years now... but anyway

Comcast still sucks and i don't know if i can blame the upload bit 
torrent problem that everyone seems to have because i can't truly 
tell for sure.

Steve, good luck with your Comcast problems, let us know what comes 
of it and once things get figgured out on my end, i'll update 
everyone!
